COVID-19 in unseren Partnerorganisationen

Wir blicken besorgt auf die Entwicklungen rund um das neue Coronavirus und die Ausbreitung von COVID-19. In den Ländern unserer Projektpartner ist die Situation äußerst vulnerabel. Die Gesundheitssysteme sind nicht sehr weit entwickelt, die Infrastrukturen sind schwach, der Bildungsstand niedrig und viele Menschen leben in großer Armut eng aufeinander. Die Staaten schotten sich ab und schränken das öffentliche Leben weitgehend ein. Extrem arme Familie haben so gar kein Einkommen mehr. Wir gehen davon aus, dass die COVID-19 Fallzahlen in den Ländern des gobalen Südens bereits viel höher sind, da es keine ausreichenden Tests gibt.

Wir haben unsere Partnerorganisationen darin unterstützt, Aufklärungsarbeit zu verstärken. Vieles wird nun gebraucht. Hygieneartikel wie Seife und Reinigungsmittel. Materialien zur Aufklärung bzw Bewusstseinsförderung und Nothilfepakete im Krankheitsfall.

Unser Partner MMCC hat bereits pro-aktiv Vorbeugung in sein Programm eingebaut.

Bright Star and WSG Staffs together with the leadership team had a preparation meeting how to prevent  children, boys and girl and the community in general from Corona (#COVID-19)

Schools are closed for two weeks followed by the government decision.

Visits to boys and gilrs #home will be only for authorized staffs under health department observation. No outside visitors!

Drop in center (#RestCenter)  will be open for #Hand #Wash, cleaning and food distribution for street people under health department staff observation. No gathering in the hall!

All preventive sanitation materials will be in place.

Teachers, social workers and others staffs are on duty always in the morning cleaning and preparing teaching aid and other necessary materials for the schools. In the afternoons they will give family and #communityservice.

The leadership and head office staffs are on duty and ready for emergency calls 24/7 form all #Homes #Centres and #Community.

#Drivers are on #standby for #emergency and regular duties.

Technical Team is always ready to assist all in homes, offices, centers and in the community.
